Abstract Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic relapsing disease which causes characteristic eczematous skin lesions. The most common symptoms of atopic are persistent pruritus, xerosis, and lesions with typical location appearance that changes the patient’s age. prevalence in pediatric population estimated at 10% to 30%, while adults it ranges from 1% 3%. number people who suffer AD rising every year. pathophysiology complex multifactorial. It involves elements epidermal barrier dysfunction, alterations cellular immune response, IgE hypersensitivity, environmental factors. significantly reduces quality life both patients their families.
